Look out Aurora! Roller derby has found its way to the suburbs.

A frenzy of fierce femmes has found its new home at the Aurora Skate Center, bringing with it the excitement of women’s flat track roller derby. This full contact sport combines speed, agility, and the promise of plenty of full-force crashes. The Aurora 88s offer up derby action outside of the big city, but this feisty group isn’t just a bunch of pretty faces on wheels.

All skaters, refs, and officials volunteer their time to this skater owned and operated organization. Our mission is to empower women through athleticism, and create an environment of respect to promote skill, confidence, and fun.  We also commit to giving back to the community through volunteering our time and making charitable contributions.
